Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1:12PM A rare scene of what usually is a cloudy and boring weather for Singapore. I didn't had my gear at that time. It was just my usual week knocking off from work and I noticed something strange was about to happen in the skies. I looked up and thought I saw some warm orangey glow coming from the west. Like a crazy fan running towards the front stage, I was desperate like a madman looking for a higher viewpoint just to catch the magical lights.
Unlike most days where I am usually prepared for this sort of thing, some days you just make do with whatever you have. This was a handheld composite shot using my iPhone 2G. I shall applaud my many years of holding my breath before hitting the trigger technique finally paid off. Back home, I assembled and massaged whatnot in Adobe Photoshop.

Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 10:00PM Spent time over the weekend with family exploring the Pinnacle @ Duxton. Located at the heart of Singapore and mere minutes away from CBD area, these estates along Cantonment Road is the peak of luxury living in a public housing. Those who got a piece of this 5 years ago would be smiling from ear to ear knowing that their houses have appreciated in value even before they move in. Those who are thinking of buying today, be prepared for a hefty price tag to pay.
For a 360 view, go here.

Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11:34PM It is rather embarrasing that I really have nothing new to post lately. This was actually shot many moons ago. I got really lucky that time and totally didn't expect anything at all but something eventually came up. I took my time because I won't know if anything like this will ever appear again during my free days. To more good days ahead.

Friday, January 8, 2010 at 6:53AM Its tough living in Semarang. For a city bum, it made me humble to see all the hardwork and sweat put in just to feed our hungry stomach. I bet this could be one of Southeast Asia's largest ricebowl. Almost everywhere I travelled in Semarang is filled with rice plantation. Its will be rather impossible to miss it. Honestly, I feel glad to have witness this. Like a reminder of something which I take for granted most of the time. I will think about all the people that made this possible everyday before my daily dosage of rice.
